Myra Blyth

During 12 years (1988-2000) whilst on the staff of the World Council of Churches, Myra co-ordinated worship at international conferences and assemblies using global music and indigenous worship practices. She then became Assistant General Secretary of the Baptist Union of Great Britain. Since 2007, as Chaplain and Fellow in Worship and Pastoral Studies at Regent’s Park College Oxford, Myra is teaching theology to undergraduates and ministerial students with special interest in the area of worship. She is also doing congregational research in the area of justice and reconciliation and particularly looking at church members as volunteers in restorative justice ministries.
