Andy Flannagan
![]() |
For years now, Andy Flannagan has been grappling with what it means to worship with our head in the clouds but our feet firmly on the ground. He has pioneered the cross-breeding of sung worship with other creative and experiential routes. Some of these ideas are fleshed out in his recent book God360. Working closely with Tearfund on many recent campaigns, he has a passion for global justice to be at the heart of worship and this is reflected in the earthy lyrical content of his songs. From the Mainstage communion at Greenbelt to the Big Top at Spring Harvest; from MPs at Westminster to Young Offenders’ institutions, Andy is well used to serving the breadth of the church and beyond it. He was previously a hospital doctor and YFC’s national singer-songwriter, but his proudest moment as an Irishman was captaining England’s Barmy Army during the Ashes in Australia. His new songs and many other resources are available from his website www.andyflan.com.
