David Peacock

Scott Stroman is a uniquely broad musician, working in a wide range of musical styles.  He is a composer, an orchestral and choral conductor, a jazz singer and trombonist, and a popular educator. A native of Indiana, USA, he has lived in London since 1982 and is Professor of Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Director of the London Jazz Orchestra, Eclectic Voices, the OPUS 20 String Ensemble and the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s Renga and Hit Squad ensembles. 

He conducts throughout Europe and composes for all mediums including orchestra, big band, and voices. He was Music Director at the American Church in London and Christ Church, Highbury, has directed Jazz Vespers at St. Anne’s Church, London since its inception in 1984, and has written, directed and produced several Gospel, jazz, and classical recordings with choirs. www.scottstroman.com
