Gayle comes from Perth, Western Australia, where she served as a worship leader in her large, charismatic church for several years.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Western Australia back in 2002, followed by a couple of years of teaching both instrumental (piano, flute, oboe) and classroom music, Gayle moved to London in 2004 to study at London School of Theology, where she graduated with a BA in Theology, Music & Worship in June 2007.
Gayle has been the Worship & Creative Arts Coordinator for Ascension Balham Hill in South West London since August 2007. She also gives worship vocal training at conferences and churches through Musicademy.
