John Leach

John Leach trained for ministry at King’s London and St John’s Durham, and spent 16 years in parish ministry in Norfolk, Sheffield and Coventry. During a sabbatical from Coventry he wrote a research thesis on how and why music affects people emotionally. He then moved to Derby where he was for five years Director of Anglican Renewal Ministries.

After a period in secular employment as a truck driver he moved to Jersey where he worked on a locum basis with three different churches. In May 2004 he became Parish Development Adviser for the Diocese of Monmouth. He is a liturgist and musician, and has written several books to do with worship, renewal and leadership.

John is Executive Director of Music & Worship Foundation. He is married to Chris and has two sons and a daughter.
